Do you often search for parenting information and end up feeling overwhelmed?
Do you also end up feeling like you should be doing more and/or like a "bad" parent because you aren't doing it "right?"
If you answered, yes, then know that I've been there too!
Often, as parents, we want to understand our growing child and their behavioral changes.
Prior to my daughter turning 4, I used to be able to get that information at my child's yearly well-visits. After age 4, however, I was no longer receiving a handout related to developmental milestones and what to expect from my still growing child. My resource and guide stopped.
And while, yes, I could (and did) turn to social media or an internet search engine, I often found myself feeling overwhelmed and like I wasn't doing "right" by my child after doing so. Not to mention all of the things I felt I needed to buy in order to be the best parent. ;)
It was mainly through the blessing of my training as a play therapist, that I was able to locate reputable educational resources that helped me understand how to support my child.
That leads me to where I am today - sharing my knowledge with parents and mental health professionals so that they can feel better informed and prepared to continue to support their growing child or their clients.
My hope is that by offering the workshops and courses below, I'm assisting those who are able and willing to learn a little more about supporting their child or the children they work with.
Feel free to click on my offerings below to learn more and if something resonates with you, then be sure to sign up!
Thank you,
