SOUND FAMILIAR?
You love your child deeply and parenting feels like walking on eggshells.
Every transition, every "no," every moment of tiredness turns into a full-blown meltdown you never saw coming.
You've tried consequences, reward charts, and firm warnings...but nothing seems to stick, and you're running out of ideas.
You react instead of respond. And afterward the guilt sets in, making you question yourself as a parent and wondering if it'll ever get better.
You genuinely don't know if what your child is doing is "normal" for their age, or a sign something is wrong.
You're exhausted from managing their big emotions while also managing your own stress, work, and everything else.
You wish someone would just give you honest, practical answers — without the judgment or the one-size-fits-all scripts.
What if the meltdowns made sense?
When you understand why your child behaves the way they do at each age — and what they actually need from you — everything shifts.
Know what's truly age-appropriate vs. what actually needs attention so you can finally stop second-guessing yourself.
Understand the internal and external triggers behind tantrums so you can get ahead of them before they escalate.
Have specific, age-based strategies you can actually try so you're no longer frustrated by vague advice that doesn't work with your child.
Stop taking their behavior personally and start responding from a place of calm, not reactivity.
Focus on fostering your connection with your child and strengthen
the foundation of your relationship.
Know when to seek outside help so you can feel confident in that decision if the time comes.
WHAT'S INSIDE
Everything inside the course
9 audio modules covering the full picture — from what's developmentally normal to what to actually do about it.
Module 1 · Intro
Setting the Stage
Who this course is for, what to expect, and a compassionate framework that doesn't come with judgment — just clarity and real talk from a therapist who's been there as a parent too.
Module 2 · Ages 3-3.5
The Threenager Years
FOMO potty accidents, body curiosity, clothing battles, and why your child argues about wearing a coat. What's normal, what to say, and how to hold limits without shame.
Module 3 · Ages 4–4.5
Big Imagination, Bigger Feelings
Lying, magical thinking, monsters under the bed, fear of bugs, and extreme mood swings. How to console without convincing — and why reasoning doesn't work here yet.
Module 4 · Ages 5–5.5
School, Rules & Emotional Extremes
Nightmares, stealing, reversal of letters, extreme mood swings that look like bipolar. How to manage a child who goes from crying to laughing in seconds — and why that's okay.
Module 5 · Ages 6–6.5
Competition, Criticism & Connection
Cheating to win, sore loser meltdowns, sensitivity to any correction, bedwetting during stress, and fear of parents dying. How to validate without enabling.
Module 6 · Ages 7–8
The Tween Transition Begins
Withdrawal, perfectionism, blaming others, hiding tears, and the start of hormonal shifts. How to stay close as they push you away — and what they still need from you.
Module 7 · Factors
What's Actually Causing the Meltdown?
Hunger, exhaustion, overstimulation, divorce, caregiver stress, sensory sensitivities, and the #1 overlooked cause: lack of connection. How to diagnose what's really going on.
Module 8 · Strategies
What to Try (& What to Stop Doing)
Why physical discipline, verbal threats, and inconsistent consequences backfire — and what actually works: one-on-one time, structured routines, limited choices, and modeling the behavior you want to see.

Meet Christine Valentín, LCSW, RPT™
Licensed Clinical Social Worker · Registered Play Therapist · Proud Puerto Rican from Brooklyn & Queens, NY
I know what it's like to grow up in a household where physical discipline and verbal threats were the norm — and to then become a parent trying to do it differently. I've been the exhausted mom who reverted to what I knew even when I knew better. I share that because I want you to know: this work is a practice, not a performance.
I've spent the last 18 years in social work — counseling elder abuse survivors, dementia caregivers, adults with Multiple Sclerosis, and for the past 8 years, specializing in children ages 3–8 and their parents. I became a Registered Play Therapist™ because talk therapy doesn't work for little ones who don't yet have the words for what they're feeling. I became a parent educator because parents need tools that are honest, not just idealistic. I became a mental health educator because not every therapist understands the intricacy of helping children in a way that suits the family — not just the child.
This course is the distilled version of everything I teach families in my private practice — now in a format you can access anytime, anywhere, at your own pace.
